INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY COORDINATOR - CHEMICALS - UDINE

The Intellectual Property Coordinator is responsible to manage and coordinate all IP activities in Europe. Further the coordinator is directly involved in the company's innovation policy. The main activities of the role are:

KEY RESULTS AREAS

• Manage and coordinate filing of patents;
• Develop and supervise the IP portfolio;
• Manage patent researches, including the analyses of the information gathered and conclusions/summaries;
• Coordinate measures to prevent patent or trademark infringements:
• Perform market and competitive analyses from an IP point of view, and monitor the exclusivity of trademarks, reporting findings to the stakeholders;
• Identify and observe trends;
• Derive implications for the company’s own business models and strategy;
• Liaise and align with the IP Coordinators of other regions.

REQUIRED REQUIREMENTS

• Degree in engineering and in general in the technical-scientific field
• Background and experience in intellectual property management.
• English – professional level; knowledge of a second language is welcome (German, Spanish, Italian).
• A demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally within the company.
• Standard knowledge in Microsoft Office. PatSnap or other tools related to patent management would be a plus
