SOUTH AMERICA EXPORT MANAGER  - BUILDING MATERIAL - MEXICO

For a ITALIAN player leader in the production and distribution of innovative products and solutions for the building material sector, part of an Industrial Group with a production footprint in EUROPE, UNITED STATES and SOUTH AMERICA with a MULTIBRAND and MULTICHANNEL commercial approach, we are looking for:

SOUTH AMERICA EXPORT MANAGER  - BUILDING MATERIAL - MEXICO

 DETAILS OF THE JOB OFFER:
The candidate directly employed by the SALES MANAGER will manage and develop a historical customer package consisting of IMPORTERS and DISTRIBUTORS specialized in the resale of building materials. In addition, to support the business, the candidate must also carry out promotion activities towards LARGE USERS in close collaboration with the local partner. Naturally, in addition to the management of the existing customer base, the candidate will be required to activate new collaborations in line with the company’s strategies. The geographical perimeter will be centered mainly towards CENTRAL AND SOUTH AMERICA foreseeing the need for intercontinental transfers.
It therefore requires, in addition to excellent commercial skills typical of the figure in research, a predisposition to business development.  
The ideal candidate therefore has a previous experience in the role of export manager preferably in the geographical area indicated, has an excellent knowledge of English, preferable knowledge of Italian, wide availability for travel, excellent organizational skills, focusing on the achievement of objectives, the ability to establish business relationships with both LARGE CUSTOMERS and with SMALL MEDIUM distribution structures.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Market analysis and mapping of the perimeter of action;
  • MANAGEMENT and DEVELOPMENT of the current customer package in order to increase sales;
  • Development of the customer base, identifying the most important players in the territory;
  • Constant intelligence activity, aimed at improving product lines through the constant interface with the research and development team;
  • Presentation of new products and promotion at design studios and/ or large users.
  BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
  • Previous experience in the role;
  • Excellent knowledge of Spanish and Italian;
  • Technical commercial approach;
  • Wide availability for trips and transfers.
